  • Precast concrete is a versatile and flexible material that can be used in a wide range of projects and applications; therefore several categories are available for entry, including:
  • Bridges
  • Parking Structures
  • Schools
  • Health Care
  • Transportation
  • Stadiums
  • Correctional
  • Marine
  • Architectural Use of Precast
  • Innovative Use of Precast

Precast concrete must have been produced by a PCMA producer member. Entries must be submitted to PCMA by December 20, 2019. All entries must include a completed entry form, at least 4 high resolution photographs and a photography release form.

All entries must submit a minimum of four photos of the completed project. Elevations, sections and close-up photos of finishes are helpful. Each photograph should have a caption describing the features shown. All photos should have as high a resolution as possible because they will be printed at 300 dpi or higher as they will be used to publicize the winners.

Entries are judged by an independent jury of industry experts who will consider creativity and innovation in the use of precast concrete to achieve aesthetic expression and function.

Because of the broad diversity and the nature of challenges presented to architects and engineers, there may be co-winners or honorable mentions in certain categories. In special cases, PCMA has the option to create ad-hoc categories based on the projects submitted.

Because the purpose of the program is to encourage new approaches in the use of precast concrete, PCMA shall have the right to publish all photographs, names of any and all entrants, and projects submitted to the program without compensation. Each entrant assumes responsibility for material submitted. All entrants must complete a photo permission form for each photographer. All submissions become property of PCMA.
