The West Houston Hyundai-Genesis Dealership and Service Center is an award-winning, five-level, multi-bay precast concrete facility, designed for automotive sales, service, and inventory management. Spanning over 200,000 square feet, this cutting-edge structure houses dual showrooms, sales offices, customer lounges, and a parts storage center.

A standout feature is the first suspended level, which functions as a weather-tight roof over the 55-bay service center, an electric vehicle lab, drive corridors, and a make-ready center. The upper floors provide storage for over 800 vehicles, maximizing operational efficiency while maintaining a sleek architectural presence.

Innovative Precast Solutions:

Manco Structures was engaged as the precast systems consultant early in the design phase, ensuring the structure met both functional and aesthetic goals.

• Key features include:
  • Showcase windows with removable bollards for vehicle display.
  • Integrated EV charging stations for electric vehicle servicing.
  • Perimeter shear walls for enhanced mobility in the service shop.

The second-floor system was engineered to support vehicle loads and heavy service equipment while encasing a waterproofing membrane and insulation within two layers of concrete topping. This required high-capacity precast components that exceed the standards of conventional parking structures.

This dealership utilizes 1,080 precast concrete components, including:

• Standard and special double tees
• Columns and inverted tee beams
• Spandrels, wall panels, and shear walls
