The Granite Place, Southlake, TX, Office Building project features the innovative use of insulated architectural precast cladding to assist the designer in achieving energy and operational efficiency.
The Granite Place office building incorporated 34,000 square feet of 262 insulated precast cladding panels that were mostly thin brick. A blend of Endicott brick was selected and arranged in both a running bond and stack bond pattern to provide relief and creative expression to the building façade. These were complemented by integral color precast panels with reveals and an acid etch finish.
Granite Southlake is located in downtown Southlake, Texas. The property includes a four-story parking garage, an on-site fitness center, meeting facilities an upscale restaurant, and a 158,000 square feet class AA office building designed to accommodate entrepreneurs and business owners to collaborate and help them spark new innovative ideas. The six-story cast in place pan slab concrete facility was constructed on a tight timeline and was completed on schedule.
