Best Multi-Use Project
The Cavender Audi Dealership and Service Center Parking Garage in San Antonio, Texas is a multi-bay precast structure that houses new vehicle parking, a showroom, a sales area, a lounge, and storage space.
Our new Audi Dominion project is located in San Antonio, Texas. This project consists of an 8.44 acre site with a new, 171,227 square foot, 2-story Audi Dealership featuring: a 10 car Showroom, 50 Service Bays and a 1,332 square foot Carwash. We were able to connect a 3-story precast parking deck attached to the rear of the building to provide our client with ample and convenient parking for employees and inventory. Total project value was $19,995,00.
The first level of the parking structure serves as a water tight roof over the 59 bay service shop. The design also features a tunnel car wash and make-ready detail bays constructed entirely of Precast Concrete. The team designed a floor system that could support vehicle loads as well as the weights of hose reels, metal tracks, tanks, and other service equipment.
Planning for the Cavender Audi project, the weight of the hose reels, metal tracks, tanks, and other service equipment had to be taken into consideration. This extraordinary loading demanded high capacity beams and double tees that are not typical to a conventional parking structure.
